What time is check-in?
Registered guests are welcome to arrive and check in after 3:00 PM. We send helpful arrival instructions by text message on the day of your stay, so please provide a mobile number where we can reach you.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 11:00 AM, giving you time to enjoy a relaxed morning before departure.
Is breakfast included with my stay?
Yes! A full homemade breakfast is included each morning of your stay, thoughtfully prepared to help you start the day well.
Is Trimmer House an adults-only property?
Trimmer House is designed primarily as an adults-oriented retreat. Guests ages 16 and older are welcome when accompanied by an adult and are charged at the regular rate. In order to maintain the quiet, restful atmosphere of the inn, we are unable to accommodate infants.
What is the maximum occupancy?
To ensure a peaceful experience for all guests, our guest rooms accommodate a maximum of two guests each.
Can I have visitors during my stay?
For the comfort and security of our guests, property access is limited to registered guests only.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes. For registered guests, parking is available in the back parking lot. One vehicle per guest room please.
Are pets allowed?
To maintain a calm and allergy-friendly environment, pets and animals are not allowed.
What happens if I arrive with a pet, infant, or extra guests?
To ensure fairness and comfort for all guests, arrivals with pets, infants, or more guests than the maximum occupancy will result in immediate cancellation, and the full reservation amount will be charged to the card on file.
Do you accept walk-ins or last-minute reservations?
We do not accept walk-ins or last-minute reservations, allowing us to properly prepare for each guest’s arrival.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
A two-night minimum stay applies to most reservations. For one-night stays, an additional fee will apply.
Is Trimmer House a smoking property?
Trimmer House is a non-smoking home, both indoors and outdoors.
Do you offer meeting or conference space?
Outside of our breakfast hours (9am – 11am) we can offer our spacious dining room as a conference area as it has comfortable seating for up to 12 guests, perfect for small meetings or gatherings.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes! Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property for your convenience.
Reservation & Payment Policy
- Reservations must be made at least 24 hours before arrival.
- Rates do not include the 12% tax (8% New York State, 4% Yates County), which will be added to the total cost of the reservation.
- We accept all major credit cards as well as cash for payment.
Cancellation Policy
- All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card at the time of booking.
- We understand that plans do not always unfold as expected. If you need to cancel within two weeks of your arrival date, you would only be responsible for the reservation if we are unable to rebook the room.
